Karim’s is a legendary Mughlai restaurant established in 1913 near Jama Masjid, Old Delhi. Originally founded by Haji Karimuddin—the son of a royal chef to the last Mughal Emperor—the restaurant was created to bring “royal food to the common man”. Today, it is an international chain with over 50 outlets across India and the UAE, managed by the fourth generation of the family.
